3 Reasons to Invest in Real Estate Today

It was Andrew Carnegie, Wealthy American Industrialist, who said “90% of all millionaires become so through owing real estate”. Real estate refers to tangible and fixed landed property.

One of the surest ways to acquiring and growing trans-generational wealth is through real estate. Do you know that popularly known Microsoft Founder, Bill Gates, who has been part of the World’s richest men for over 30 years is not just a tech guru, but also the biggest private owner of farmland in the United States. He has 268,000 acres of farmland spread across 19 states in the US. This shows that the wealthy, irrespective of the sector from which they primarily acquire wealth, still invest in Real Estate.

So, here are 3 reasons why you should invest in Real Estate:

1. High Potential for Appreciation in value: Real Estate is one asset whose value increases

from time to time. If you buy and build property in an area where young and working class people are migrating to; where companies and businesses are springing up, the value of your property will automatically increase yielding to you a high return on your investment.

2. Regular cash flow/passive income: Depending on the type of real estate you invest in,

you will have access to cash flow/passive income on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly

basis. For instance, if you invest in hotels/shortlet apartments, you will be paid on a daily

basis by your clients. If you invest office spaces/ co-working spaces, your tenants will pay

you on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis. If you invest in residential apartments, you will be paid rent on a monthly or yearly basis. So, Real Estate opens up a pathway for you to receive regular cash flow/passive income.

3. Trans-generational wealth: Ancient King of Israel, Solomon, once said, “A good person leaves an inheritance to his grandchildren”. This means that one index for measuring how good you live your life is by providing an inheritance for your descendants, which in this context refers to real estate. Hence, investing in real estate gives you an opportunity to pass on trans-generational wealth to your descendants.

For instance, John D. Rockefeller (1839-1937), the world’s richest man in his time, before

he passed on, handed over his fortune (real estate inclusive) to trust administrators whose duty is to maintain the family's wealth. 87 years after the demise of John D. Rockefeller, his family has over 1600 real estate property spread across the United States and South American Countries. The combined value of all these properties is over $25 Billion Dollars.

In conclusion, the difference between successful and unsuccessful people is that while

successful people know what to do and take action by doing it, unsuccessful people either know what to do and don’t take action, or even don’t know what to do at all.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO, TAKE ACTION BY INVESTING IN REAL ESTATE TODAY!
